Four Schuylkill League girls teams posted wins on Monday.
Jim Thorpe remained undefeated, while Tamaqua clinched a district playoff berth. Marian and Weatherly also posted victories.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Jim Thorpe-N. Schuylkill
Jim Thorpe rebounded from a first-period deficit to stay unbeaten, gaining a 63-49 Schuylkill League Division 1 victory over North Schuylkill.
The Olympians’ Skyler Searfoss recorded a game-high 18 points, while Leila Hurley contributed 16 and Olivia Smelas added 15 points.
Jim Thorpe improved to 13-0 overall and 7-0 in the league.

Tamaqua-Panther Valley
A big first half helped lift Tamaqua to a 65-37 Schuylkill League victory over Panther Valley.
Emily Titus and Emma Kuczynski both scored 15 points to lead the Blue Raiders (11-2; 6-1), who held a 35-16 halftime advantage. The win also clinched a District 11 playoff berth.
The Panthers’ Erika Dubosky led all scorers with 20 points. PV dropped to 6-8 overall and 0-7 in the league.

Emily Zoscin tallied a game-high 21 points and also pulled down 11 rebounds to spark Weatherly to a 61-27 Schuylkill League victory over Tri-Valley.
The Wreckers (10-3; 4-2), who scored the game’s first 17 points, also received double-doubles from Lindsey Hoffman (11 points, 12 rebounds) and Megan Peifer (10 points, 10 rebounds).

Marian pulled away from Williams Valley to gain a 55-38 Schuylkill League victory.
Emily Shaud had a game-high 15 points for the Fillies, who used a 21-point second quarter to offset an early four-point deficit. Marian also received 13 points from Macy Alansky.
The win upped Marian’s record to 10-3 overall and 5-1 in the league.

The Indians, after being held scoreless in the first quarter, cut a 12-point deficit in half during the final frame.
Emily Miller, Hailey Miller and Alexis Solomon paced the Indians (6-8; 1-6) with seven points apiece.
