State police at the Lehighton barracks investigated the following crashes:
• Police said no damages resulted from a minor mishap at 4:23 p.m. Dec. 18 on East Bridge Street (Route 209) in Lehighton. Police said a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country was southbound when a tractor trailer began to merge into its lane, which caused the front driver’s side tire of the Town and Country to make contact with a small concrete median. There was no visible damage to the car, which could be driven from the scene, and no injuries.
• No one was hurt in a mishap that involved a Palmerton man at 2:07 p.m. Dec. 26 on Route 22 in Upper Macungie Township.
State police at the Fogelsville barracks said a 2018 Honda Elantra driven by Trevaughne T. Kenner, 18, of Whitehall, rear-ended a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Francisco M. Capinha, 71, of Palmerton, as both vehicles were eastbound on the on-ramp. The two vehicles needed to be towed from the scene.
• Thomas V. Heath of Long Pond was cited after a two-vehicle mishap at 1:11 p.m. Dec. 26 at the intersection of Route 611 and Price Drive in Hamilton Township. Heath was driving a 2013 Toyota Camry that turned left onto Route 611 southbound and entered the path of a 2005 Mercury Grand Marque driven by Edna M. Bennison, 79, of Stroudsburg, causing the collision.
Police said Heath was uninjured. Bennison sustained minor injuries and a 10-year-old girl from East Stroudsburg, who was her passenger, sustained possible injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
