Light snow tonight, winter weather Friday

A storm system Friday night through Saturday may result in a wintry

mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain, according to the National Weather Service.

Here’s the latest forecast:

Today: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38. North wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable.

Tonight: A chance of rain and snow before 4 a.m., then a chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 32. Southeast wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 41. Northwest wind 5 to 11 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 28. West wind 3 to 5 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. West wind 3 to 6 mph.

Friday Night: Rain likely, mainly after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Saturday: Rain likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 34.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44.
