Two people were injured late Saturday night when involved in a crash in Mahoning township.

The crash occurred just after 11 p.m. at the intersection of Route 443 and Country Club road. The injured were treated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance before being transported to a local hospital.

The Mahoning Valley fire company responded, providing traffic control at the scene and taking care of fluids spilled on the roadway. Mahoning township police are investigating the incident.
