A traffic stop made by Summit Hill police at 7:56 p.m. Nov. 17 resulted in a borough woman being charged with multiple offenses, including drug-related charges.
Police said they stopped Jennifer Jackson, 37, of 426 W. Iron St. driving a Ford van at West Iron and Linden streets and learned she was driving while her New Jersey license was revoked. There was also a warrant from New Jersey for failure to appear. The woman then admitted to police she was in possession of drug paraphernalia that was in her makeup bag.
A search of the makeup bag yielded 15 small clear baggies containing a white powdery residue, an empty blue heroin packet, four syringes, three bottle caps with a white powdery substance on them, two Newport cigarette packs to conceal drug paraphernalia and six Newport cigarette cellophanes with suspected marijuana residue.
Jackson was taken into custody and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license, general lighting requirements and driving while under suspension.
