An Anxious Abby Family workshop will take place from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Care Net, 531 Mahoning St. in Lehighton.

Leading the workshop will be Alyssa Cathers of Lehighton, author of “Anxious Abby and the Camp Trust Challenge: Bible Truths for Kids That Worry.”

Cathers wrote the book for children because they struggle with anxiety.

Each child attending must have a parent or custodian with them so the adult will be able to help the child put the lessons into effect.

There will also be a craft project that will help the children remember what to do when they start worrying. There is a $2 per child cost for the craft.
