Fourteen Times News area student-athletes were named District 11 volleyball all-stars.

The list of area players is headlined by five selections from Schuylkill League champion Panther Valley. Marian had three players on the squad; Pleasant Valley and Jim Thorpe both had two; and Weatherly and Lehighton had one apiece.

In Class A, Marian’s Alivia Karchner made the first team while teammates Antonina Zeleniak and Macie Mazalusky were on the second team. Weatherly’s Emily Zoscin was also a second team selection,

In Class 2A, Panther Valley dominated the squad, capturing five of the nine spots. Panthers on the first team were Rachelle Filer, Olivia Dacey, Emilee Kwaak, Jenna Dubosky and Erika Dubosky. Jim Thorpe players on the 2A team were Kelsey Carroll and Abbey McGinley.

In Class 3A. Lehighton’s Lillian Brown was a second team selection.

In Class 4A, Pleasant Valley’s Desi Powell was named to the second team and Jenny Clifton was named honorable mention.
