Northern Lehigh School Board, on a 7-0 vote, with Director Gale Husack absent, approved:

• Resignation of JoAnn Wasilkowski as high school math teacher, effective Jan. 23, 2019. Wasilkowski will retire from the district with 19 years of service.

• Resignation of Andrea Sicora as Peters Elementary emotional support paraprofessional, effective Dec. 21.

• Resignation of Charles Chamberlain as high school cafeteria monitor, effective Oct. 24.

• The transfer of Judy VanHorn from Slatington Elementary cook’s helper to Peters Elementary cook’s helper, at no change in salary, effective Nov. 12.

• The transfer of Tifani Weber from Peters Elementary cook’s helper to Slatington Elementary cook’s helper, at no change in salary, effective Nov. 12.

• Corinna Varilek as substitute instructional aide for the 2018-19 school year at the 2018-19 substitute rate as approved on the Supplement Personnel Salary Schedule.

• Appointed Jessica Walters as Slatington Elementary classroom paraprofessional, at a salary of $12.28 an hour, 5.75 hours per day, five days per week/180 days per year, effective Nov. 5.

• Shelby Bailey, middle school student council adviser, $1,373, changed to middle school student council adviser — shared stipend — $783, for the 2018-19 school year. Amanda Bariana will share the duties at $590.

• Kelly Nikisher appointed as second shift custodian at Slatington Elementary School, at a salary of $13.55 an hour, from 2:30-11 p.m. five days per week, effective Nov. 13.

• Approved bus drivers David Bilheimer, Richard Bowman, Schelene Fritzinger, Denise Hoadley, Linda Neff and Melissa Strohl from Brandywine Transportation to transport Northern Lehigh School District students for the 2018-19 school year.
