Tamaqua senior Jacob Rudy will continue his education and soccer career at Misericordia University.

The versatile soccer player earned All-County First Team honors as a defender after his junior season and earned the same recognition as a forward this past fall. He is also a member of the Blue Raider swimming and diving team.

He played varsity soccer all four years of high school and was a team captain the past two seasons. He plays club soccer for RC Revolution Santos.

The son of Francis and Kristine Rudy, he is also an Eagle Scout, President of his school’s National Honor Society and Student Government Vice President. He is a member of National Honor Society for Spanish, English, Math and Science and part of the Blue Raider band, Biology Club and World Language Club.
