Holiday Luncheon at Stroud mansion

The Monroe County Historical Association will host the annual Holiday Luncheon at the Stroud Mansion fundraiser on Dec. 15.

The early lunch seating will be held at 11 a.m. and guests may dine until 12:30 p.m. and the late lunch seating will be held at 1 p.m. and guests may dine until 2:30 p.m.

The luncheon will be held on the second floor of the 1795 Stroud Mansion, 900 Main St., Stroudsburg.

This event will take place in the second-floor meeting room of a historic structure, which is not handicap accessible.

The Stroud Mansion will be decorated for the holidays and guests attending the lunch- eon are welcome to tour the museum. Local musicians Erin McClelland and Andrew Moses will provide seasonal music.

The luncheon will be a hot buffet-style meal catered by Dave Cook of The Cook’s Corner Restaurant in Henryville. This year’s menu will feature: Fresh baby greens salad with black raspberry vinaigrette; Chicken breast roulade; leek and honey crisp apple stuffing with a sweet wine demi glacé sauce; herb seasoned layered potatoes with onions and cream; roasted maple brown sugar butternut squash; fresh baked rolls with whipped honey butter; and a selection of homemade desserts.
