Tamaqua Area School Board has received an estimate for a four-phase paving project.

Connie Ligenza, the district’s business administrator, reported that the engineering group Quandel gave an estimate of $975,000 to complete all four phases.

The phases include the Boyle Avenue access road, administration parking lot and bus drop-off, the parent pickup circle, and the maintenance road and loading dock.

Ligenza reported that the board will have a choice as to whether it wants to complete all four phases.
