November 8, 1941 — Lansford snaps a scoreless halftime tie with three second-half touchdowns to give the Panthers an 18-0 victory over Nesquehoning. After Johnny Malik recovers a fumble, Lansford eventually gets on the scoreboard thanks to a 6-yard run by Joe Petko. Alex Ferretti extends the margin with a 3-yard TD run, which was set up by Steve Delpero’s key 16-yard gain. Lansford, coached by Ken Millen, puts the game out of reach when Bernie Sniscak reached the end zone on a 4-yard run late in the final quarter.
