The Marion Hose Company of Jim Thorpe nominated Carlos Nonnemacher to be its president at a recent meeting. The election will take place on Dec. 7.

Others nominated were George P. Hull, vice president; Ray Kissner, secretary; Harold Queen, treasurer; William Rhodes and George Mann, trustees; Roland Edwards, captain; Bert Whitehead, lieutenant; Stephen Fedorcha, foreman of hose; Jake Ackerman, foreman of booster; Rhodes, engineer; Henry Hockmiller, representative to the Firemen’s Relief Association; and Ray Smith, Fedorcha and Ackerman, representatives to the Carbon County Firemen’s Association.
