At 5:25 a.m., emergency services are reporting a crash with entrapment at the intersection of Route 248 and 873, at the Slatington bridge. The incident involved a car and a tractor-trailer.

According to online reports, the coroner has been called to the scene and Route 248 will be closed for a period of time.
