State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of a gun from a vehicle.

Troopers said John Motto, 58, of Hazleton, reported that his GMC Envoy was entered while parked at 20 Sewer Plant Road in Walker Township, and removed was a Rugar LC9 9mm semi-automatic pistol. The theft occurred sometime between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday.
