Summit Hill police arrested Tayshawn Hudson, 24, of 507 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, for delivery of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility and possession of a controlled substance after they arranged for a confidential informant to purchase heroin from him on June 22 at 6:42 p.m. on North Oak Street in the borough.
Police said they met with the informant and arranged for him to purchase cocaine from Hudson. Initially, police said, they gave the informant “pre-recorded money” ($100) and then observed him arranging the sale with Hudson through cellphone text messaging. Police said the two met at a pre-determined location, where Hudson was observed driving up to the informant, at which time they did a hand-to-hand exchange. The informant then immediately turned the plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance to police.
Police said substance, weighing 0.7 grams, tested positive for cocaine.
