Palmerton-Lehighton

Lehighton defeated Palmerton in a non-league match, 25-16, 25-23, 25-18.

Lillian Brown had 26 digs and two aces for the Indians. Samantha Banning added 14 digs and four aces, while Alyssa Frey recorded 18 assists, three aces and five digs.

Catasauqua-Tamaqua

Tamaqua swept Catasauqua in non-league play 25-21, 25-9, 25-11.

Morgan Houser had three kills and two blocks for the Raiders, Maddie Baddick added four aces and six assists, and Kaydee Romig had two aces and two kills.

Freedom-Pleasant Vy.

Freedom took all three matches from Pleasant Valley in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference match, 25-7, 25-18, 25-17.

Cameron Caffrey recorded 12 assists for Pleasant Valley, including her 1,000th-career assist.

Desi Powell had 12 kills, 11 digs and a block. Madi Rosenburg and Summer Kamaran each had two kills.

Shenandoah-Weatherly

Weatherly earned a Schuylkill League victory against Shenandoah Valley, 3-2.

Tamaqua rolled to its fifth-straight win with a 5-0 Schuylkill League shutout of North Schuykill.

Emma Kuczynski and Kayla Sherry each scored two goals for the Raiders. Sophia Boyle also had a goal for Tamaqua.

Baylee Reinhardt made one save to post the shutout.

Lehighton-Jim Thorpe

Lehighton and Jim Thorpe ended their Schuylkill League contest in a 1-1 tie.

Lydia Wallace, assisted by Kayla Renode, scored for the Olympians in the first half.

The Indians knotted the score on Ashley Marchessault’s goal in the second half.

Thorpe held a 14-10 advantage in shots. Lehighton’s Alyssa Meyers made 11 saves, while JT’s Kate Bos had nine.

Haleigh Toto’s two goals helped propel Catasauqua to a 3-1 Colonial League win over Northern Lehigh.
