Golden Agers

Despite the bad weather, 35 members attended the second annual Golden Agers’ Picnic of the Year on Sept. 10.

The program started with the Pledge of Allegiance and the singing of “God Bless America.” A prayer was read in memory of 9/11 by Norma Lee Burke. A Chinese auction was held after the picnic.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the Golden Ager’s meeting scheduled for Monday has canceled .

Bloodmobile

Miller Keystone Bloodmobile will be coming to Lansford from 1 to 6 p.m. Oct. 16 at the American Fire Company, 26 E. Patterson St., Lansford.
