The League of Women Voters will host a forum at which two candidates for state representative will discuss various issues. The event will be held on Saturday at Hughes Library, 1002 N. Ninth St. (Route 611) in Stroudsburg.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for light refreshments before the event starts at 10 a.m. The public is welcome to attend to hear a discussion of the issues important to Monroe County residents.

Maureen Madden, Democratic incumbent representative for the 189th, and Republican David Parker will participate in the discussion. Questions will be accepted from the audience.
