September 13, 2002 — Lehighton’s Josh Strawser and Vinnie Andrews both rush for 100 yards to help the Indians gain a 31-14 victory over North Schuylkill. Strawser, who boots a 25-yard field goal in the game, carries 13 times for 122 yards, while Andrews collects 115 yards and a touchdown on 22 attempts. Andrews also reaches the end zone on a 74-yard kickoff return. The winners, coached by Bill Brong, also receive a 4-yard TD pass from Dave Frehulfer to Jarod McEvoy. McEvoy intercepts two passes on defense, while Matt Breiner adds a pick-six.
