State police at the Stroudsburg barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between Aug. 22 and Sept. 1 at the Timothy Lake Campground, Middle Smithfield Township.

The victims are a 49-year-old female from Rockaway, New York, and a 52-year-old female from New York, New York.

Police said someone used force to break into a storage area where multiple recreational vehicles are located and stole numerous items before fleeing the scene undetected.
