Auditions will be held for the 2018 winter season at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort from 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 8 and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 9 for upcoming performances at The Shawnee Playhouse, 552 River Road, Shawnee-on-Delaware. You only need to attend one of these dates and may audition anytime within these time slots.

The playhouse is seeking children ages 5 to 17 for “Hollydaze Kidz Kabaret,” (children’s production); and adults and children, ages 10 and older, for “A Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail” and “Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol.”

Be prepared to sing 16-32 bars of a song that best showcases your abilities. The playhouse does not provide an accompanist. You can either sing a cappella or with music you provide (speaker with aux cable will be available). Please make sure it is music only — no vocals. You do not have to sing a song from the show that you are auditioning for.

Children will be asked to audition without a parent present. Your child must be able to perform alone to ensure they are ready to be on stage. Parents will be asked to wait in the holding room and will not be allowed to listen outside the audition room.
