Members of the Palmerton High School class of 1961 met at the Palmerton Hotel Aug. 18 for an afternoon of greeting friends and reminiscing about the good old days, with 36 people attending.

Plans are underway for next year’s reunion which will be held at the hotel on Aug. 17, beginning at 1 p.m.

Organizers are looking for the following classmates: Marianne Blomquist, Sandra Dorshimer, Dolores Fernandez, Marvin Green, Judith Hazelton, Diane Horvath, Ronald Kuehner, John Martin, Lynn McFarland, Brenda Meckes, David Mertz, Michael Murphy, Sandra Nothstein, Edwin Shupp, Richard Smith and Donna Sauchon.
