State police at Frackville
State police at the Frackville barracks have reported on the following incidents:
• A Schuylkill County man is facing charges, including fleeing or attempting to elude police, after he was observed operating an all-terrain vehicle on a public street. State police said Eric Matrishion, 38, of McAdoo, was observed around 8:20 p.m. on July 26 driving a Suzuki ATV on Main Street, near Croll Road, in North Union Township. Troopers attempted a traffic stop but Matrishion fled. Troopers said in addition to the fleeing charge, Matrishion was also charged with driving under suspension and several ATV violations.
• A vehicle stop for a traffic violation was made at 10:33 a.m. along Interstate 81 in Delano Township. The driver was identified as Antonio Hinojosa, 57, of Hazleton. A check revealed that Hinojosa was wanted out of Passaic County, New Jersey, for violation of probation for forgery and wrongful impersonating. He was taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge Anthony Kilker, of Shenandoah, on a fugitive from justice charge. He was committed to the county prison in Pottsville to await extradition to New Jersey.
• State police said Karl Csak, 48, of Shenandoah, was observed at 12:35 a.m. on Monday operating an ATV in the 1100 block of Barnesville Drive in Ryan Township. Troopers attempted to make a traffic stop, but Csak fled despite the emergency lights and siren on the cruiser being activated. After a time Csak eventually stopped. Troopers filed charges of fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving under suspension — DUI related and several ATV violations against Csak.

There were 60 vehicle stops, one driving under the influence arrest, 15 summary traffic citations issued, 40 written warnings handed out and one drug possession arrest.
