Penn’s Peak announced four new shows recently.

The Psychedelic Fur will play the Peak at 8 p.m. Oct. 28. Led by vocalist and songwriter Richard Butler, and his bass-wielding brother Tim, the Furs scored major hits with “Love My Way,” “Pretty In Pink,” “Heaven,” “The Ghost In You,” and “Heartbreak Beat.”

Born out of the post-punk UK rock scene, the Furs quickly developed as one of the premiere bands on U.S. college and modern rock radio scoring a multitude of No. 1 singles.

At 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17, Penn’s Peak will welcome Slightly Stoopid with special guest Hirie.

The Ocean Beach, California-based band formed by multi-instrumentalists Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty has matured into a versatile musical ensemble consisting of drummer Ryan “Rymo” Moran; percussionist Oguer “OG” Ocon; saxophonist Daniel “Dela” Delacruz; keyboardist Paul Wolstencroft; trumpet and trombone player Andy Geib, and an arsenal of guests that frequent the stage, most notably Karl Denson (Rolling Stones/Greyboy Allstars), Don Carlos, Chali 2na (Jurassic 5) and Rashawn Ross (Dave Matthews Band).

An eclectic band when it comes to musical styles as well as collaborations, Slightly Stoopid, now in its second decade of making music, continues to manufacture an energizing and multifaceted sound that has been described as “a spiritual bath of positive party energy.”

Get The Led Out, the American Led Zeppelin, returns to Penn’s Peak for two shows at 8 p.m. Dec. 28 and Dec. 29.

From the bombastic and epic, to the folky and mystical, Get The Led Out has captured the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brought it to the concert stage. The Philadelphia-based group consists of six veteran musicians intent on delivering Led Zeppelin live, like you’ve never heard before. Tickets for all shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at all Ticketmaster outlets, the Penn’s Peak box office and Roadies Restaurant and Bar.
