At a reorganizational meeting held on June 23 at the Penn Forest Fire Co. No. 1, the Carbon County Republican committee elected officers who will serve until 2022.

Newly elected officers are Timm Berger, state committee; Tom Gerhard, Weatherly area chair; Susie Gerhard, secretary and state committee; Wally Putkowski, registration chair; Kay Becker, treasurer; Lee Becker, county chair; Jean Papay, vice chair; and Ty Poole, Lehighton area chair, Darlene Yeakel, Palmerton area chair; Diane Luedtke, Jim Thorpe area chair; and Martin Ditsky, Panther Valley area chair.
