State Police at Lehighton report the following incidents:
• David R. Snyder, 63, of Palmerton, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a mishap at 8:23 p.m. July 27 on Route 248 in Lower Towamensing Township.
Police said he was the driver of a 2002 Subaru Outback that was involved in the mishap. The other vehicle, a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country, was driven by John C. Wilk, 63, of Fogelsville.
Police did not provide any details of the incident that happened at the Palmerton exit of Route 248, but said neither driver, nor Helen J. Wilk, 51, also of Fogelsville, were injured.
• A 53-year-old Eldred Township man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police said he was involved in a vehicle crash at 10:52 p.m. July 31 at 571 Kunkletown Road, Eldred Township.
Police did not provide the details of the crash.
• Summit Hill police arrested Chad M. Eschbach, 38, of East Patterson Street, Lansford, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop made at 9:48 p.m. July 20 on Route 902.
Police said the Dodge Ram 3500 van was westbound when it was stopped. Eschbach consented to a search of the vehicle. It yielded a plastic baggy containing marijuana that police located under the driver’s seat, and wrapping papers that were found in the front cup holder of the vehicle.
