Solving the drug problem

My neighbor Charlie from Nis Hollow often stops by to complain about the roads in the township. I had not seen him for a long time, and since he is 95 years old, I presumed the worst. However, much to my surprise, he knocked on my kitchen door the other day, and after inviting him in, he insisted I write you and tell you about his new plan.

Charlie informed me that his plan to address the drug problem in our area is quite simple. Here goes: Since the state is going to spend money on the problem, and since marijuana is now legal, the state should provide places where the potheads can go in, get their grass, then sit down and enjoy themselves away from the public and police!

Charlie even offered a name for such places: Pot holes! I asked him why that? He said, “since it is state money, and since the state has a reputation for pot holes, why not keep everything in sync?

As Charlie skipped off my porch, I told him I did not think it would go to print.

Thank you,
