Bobby Pope delivers a two-run single during the big frame, while Gino Duffy contributes an RBI hit and Kenny Snerr chips in with a hit and run scored. Snerr gains the pitching win in relief, tossing 2 2/3 innings. He walks one and strikes out four. Pat Large scores three runs for Thorpe, with Scott Miller adding a double and run scored.
