Heather A. Yost, 28, of Albrightsville, was issued a citation for following too closely after a crash at 3:22 p.m. July 3 at the intersection of Route 115 and Timothy Drive in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said she was driving a 2007 Mazda north on Route 115 when it failed to stop for a 2009 GM Sierra driven by Michael J. Sroke, 60, of Effort, who was also northbound and had slowed down to turn onto Timothy Drive.

Police said the front end of the Mazda struck the rear of Sroke’s Sierra, causing disabling damages to both vehicles.

Police said Sroke was injured in the crash but the severity of his injuries is unknown. He was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono in the West End Ambulance.
