The annual Eck family reunion will take place Aug. 5 at Emmaus Community Park, 1401 Shimerville Road, Emmaus, in the Rotary Pavilion.

The park opens at 10 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.

Bring a covered dish or dessert and your own beer if desired.

The business meeting will take place at 1:30 p.m. There will also be children’s games, guessing games, door prizes, a cakewalk and a raffle.

Please bring a cake or baked good for the cake walk and/or an item for the chance table/raffle.

The concert in the park will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature jazz music.

Officers elected last year include: Steve Nordahl, president; Robert White III, vice president; Diane White, treasurer; Lori Berta, secretary; and Helen Arkey and Laura Tettemer as historians.

Organizers are looking to update family history, including births, deaths, marriages, graduations, etc. They also invite family members with any special talents to consider sharing them at the reunion.
