Fire crews are on scene at Pleasant Valley Elementary, where heavy smoke was reported at 8:10 p.m.

On scene are Polk Township Fire Department, assisted by Kunkletown, Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder and Carbon County units.

Crews were concentrated at the back of the school, located on Polk Township Road.

No information was available at the scene at this time.
