Trailing by a run, Slatington comes through with four tallies in the ninth to pull out the win. Smith starts the comeback with a walk and eventually scores on a two-run single by Bruce Follweiler. A balk plates the go-ahead run, while Bill Garrity adds an insurance run with his RBI single. Follweiler, Garrity and Henry Oncheck finish with two hits apiece, with Dean Cunfer adding a hit and two runs. Lansford receives three hits from Bob Piscelli.
