Eight area players were recently named to the Lehigh Valley Legion all-star team.

Four were selected from the Carbon Monarchs, while Northern Valley also had four players chosen.

One from each team was also picked as starters. They include Carbon’s Noah Snisky at second base and the Chargers’ Justin Welch at shortstop.

The remaining area all-stars include Collin Haupt (third base), Bradley Buzzard (outfield), and Justin Marykwas (pitcher) from Crabon, and Tyler Wiik (catcher), Trevor Schreiner (outfield), and Ryan King (pitcher) of Northern Valley.
