Dan Keer drove in four runs to help the Carbon Monrachs post a Lehigh Valley League win.

Dan Keer knocked in four runs as the Carbon Monarchs posted a 6-5 victory over Coplay on Friday.
Keer collected two hits and scored a run for the winners, who survived a late rally from the visitors.
Zach Searfoss contributed three hits and an RBI, while Michael Bozilesky added a hit and two runs scored. The Monarchs (8-8) also received a pair of runs from Jake Taras, who walked twice. Collin Haupt and Logan Pagotto each chipped in with a hit.
Justin Mahmde gained the pitching win, striking out seven in 4 1/3 innings.

Logan Bellis and Brayden Ulshafer both collected four hits Thursday to help lead Franklin Township to a 12-3 victory over West Hazleton.
Bellis scored two runs and knocked in three, while Ulshafer scored twice and knocked in a pair.
The winners, who held a 3-1 lead after four innings but broke the game open with a six-run fourth, also received two hits and two runs from Braylon Hunsicker and Grant Birnbaum. Parker Rodgers contributed two hits, one a two-run single in the second.
Cash White chipped in with a hit and two runs scored.
White, Bellis and Dominic Lawrence shared the pitching duties and combined to strike out seven batters.
