NEPA Alliance announces the election of new Executive Committee Members for Fiscal Year 2018-19.

Commissioner George Halcovage of Schuylkill County will serve as the secretary on the NEPA Alliance Executive Committee.

He was first elected as Schuylkill County Commissioner in 2012 and is currently serving his second term.

He’s also the president and insurance agent at Morgan and Halcovage Insurance Agency in Minersville.

He serves on the board of County Commissioners Association and chairs its assessment and taxation committee and also chairs the Republican Caucus of County Commissioners.

Also named to the board:

• William Kerstetter will serve as the assistant treasurer on the NEPA Alliance Executive Committee. He is also a board member of the Milford-Matamoras Rotary Club.

Kerstetter served as the vice president and commercial loan officer at the Wayne Bank in Honesdale before his retirement in 2015.

• Mary Frances Postupack will serve as the assistant secretary on the NEPA Alliance Executive Committee. She is currently the vice president for economic development and entrepreneurship at East Stroudsburg University.

The NEPA Alliance, a regional community and economic development agency, serves the seven counties of northeastern Pennsylvania including Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill and Wayne. Services include business financing, government contracting assistance, international trade assistance, nonprofit assistance, transportation planning, research and information, and local government services.
