Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone will perform at Mohegan Sun Pocono’s Keystone Grand Ballroom at 7:30 Aug. 17.
Noone has long been revered by millions for his superb lead vocals fronting one of England’s premier groups.
The fresh-faced and velvet voiced Noone became one of the world’s top teen idols sharing the rarefied air with the likes of The Beatles, Elvis Presley and The Rolling Stones.
Highly regarded as the standard bearer of British pop rock, Noone and his band erupted on the rock music scene in 1964 and rode high atop the first wave of the British invasion scoring hit-after-timeless-hit.
Noone brings his hit-laden catalog to Mohegan Sun Pocono which includes: “Mrs. Brown You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter,” “There’s a Kind of Hush (All Over the World),” “I’m Henry the VIII I Am,” “I’m Into Something Good,” “Dandy,” “Listen People,” “What a Wonderful World,” “Can’t You Feel My Heart Beat,” “No Milk Today” and “Silhouettes.”
The support act for this show will be the kings of bubble gum rock, The 1910 Fruitgum Company, best known for their smash ’60s radio hits “Simon Says” and “1, 2, 3 Red Light.”
