Dan (Deacon) and Marcia (Smith) Evans of Lake Hauto are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married on June 15, 1968, at St. Jerome’s Church in Tamaqua by the Rev. William Dean.

They are the parents of three children: Kerry, Coreen and Daniel, and the grandparents of Dominic and Cara Palumbo, Brooke and Braedyn Weilminster, and Addison and Daniel Evans.
