Kralik receives Good Samaritan Award

Kyle Kralik, a senior at Palmerton High School Class of 2018, received the Good Samaritan Award from the Christian Action Council of the Palmerton Area Churches.

The Rev. William Campion of Sacred Heart Church in Palmerton nominated Kralik for the award.

Kralik is the son of Shane and Johnette Kralik in Lehighton.

Campion said that he has found Kralik to present the highest standards of Christian living to everyone he meets.

Kralik is a member of Sacred Heart Parish, is active in the parish youth group, participates in the annual service day, helps with parish fundraising, joins in the Lenten youth presentation of the Stations of the Cross, and has organized a food collection to stock the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry.

In the community, Kralik has been active in the county Family Promise program.

He is a member of the Palmerton football team, and assisted with moving the Vietnam veterans moving wall in Palmerton.

He has also volunteered for Special Olympics, collected canned goods for hurricane victims, helped with the booster club football camp, and was selected to speak with the youth football program about the importance of respect.

Kralik is a member of the student council at school, and has excelled at sports.
