Pleasant Valley senior Nicholas Gattuso will continue his academic and baseball careers at Division 3 King’s College.
Gattuso was a three-year member of the Bears’ varsity baseball team where he played outfield and first base. A switch-hitter, Gattuso led the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference in batting average (.474) and stolen bases (27) as a junior, when he was named All EPC second team as an outfielder. He holds the Pleasant Valley single season records for steals and singles. He was also the Bears’ captain in both his junior and senior seasons.
In addition to playing baseball, Gattuso was a four-year member of the Bears’ golf team. He was also involved with the PVYA basketball program.
The son of Stephen Gattuso and Brenda Lomsky, Nicholas will major in business and marketing.
