Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Prohibited offensive weapons: Cherokee Nikas, 26, Lehighton, was charged for prohibited offensive weapons, for an incident March 23 on Route 248 east.

Possession of drug paraphernalia: Candy Behler, 53, Palmerton, was charged with altered, forged or counterfeit documents and plates, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, for an incident Feb. 28 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Franklin Piro, 19, Bethlehem, and Cierra Stein, 19, Palmerton, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, for an incident April 27 in the 500 block of Franklin Avenue.

DUI: Larry Braker Jr, 46, Allentown, was charged with two counts of DUI, endangering welfare of children, general lighting requirements, and driving under suspension, for an incident April 11 at Third Street and Franklin Avenue.

Simple assault: Louis Zielinski, 26, Palmerton, was charged with recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, and criminal mischief, for an incident April 1 on Hillside Avenue.

Disorderly conduct: Jeffrey Beagle, 44, Palmerton, was charged with disorderly conduct, for an incident May 13 in the 500 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Harassment by communication: Harry Johnson Jr, 72, Palmerton, was charged with harassment by communication, for an incident April 17 in the 300 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Harassment: Peter Foder, 60, Weissport, was charged with harassment, for an incident May 17 in the 300 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Maximum gross weight: Carlos Otalora, 32, Elizabeth, New Jersey; Santos Amaya, 37, Elizabeth, New Jersey; Mesias Romero, 32, Belleville, New Jersey; and Gerald Mendez, 46, Union, New Jersey, were charged with maximum gross weight, for an incident May 14 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Citations: Police also issued two citations each for traffic violations and vehicle violations.
