Jim Thorpe Sportsmen’s Club held its 66th annual children’s fishing this past weekend. President Don Vincler said, “The fishing contest had a good turnout considering the weather and amount of rain that we had (Saturday).” At least 75 kids participated in the fishing contest, which was held along the banks of the Mauch Chunk Creek this past Sunday.
