Bethany EC Church

Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class, fellowship time at 10:15 a.m., morning worship at 10:45 a.m., preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Monday: Kids Club, 6-7:15 p.m.

Tuesday: Ladies Bible study, 10 a.m. at Blocker’s residence.

Wednesday: Prayer meeting, 7 p.m.

Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.; choir practice, 7 p.m.

Friday: Wrapped in Prayer Ministry.

Trinity happenings

Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., with Holy Communion is at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free communion wafers are available for those with allergy issues. Music will be provided by the Trinity Praise Band. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Rich Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.

Sunday church school classes for students age 3 through sixth grade begin at 10:45 a.m. “Last Sundae” activities are coming up May 27 before the summer break. Mark your calendars for “Splash Canyon — God’s promise on Life’s Wild Ride” Vacation Bible School, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 6-10.
