Bo Rottet, a graduate of Tamaqua, recently completed his junior season as a member of the Kutztown University baseball team.
Rottet was the only Golden Bears player to start 40 games this season and finished with a .303 batting average, collecting 40 hits in 132 at-bats.
The former Blue Raider led the team in runs with 33, doubles with 11, and hit-by-pitches with 19. The team’s leadoff hitter also knocked in seven runs, walked nine times, stole five bases, and had an on-base percentage of .425.
The junior has played 138 career games at Kutztown and owns a .298 average (128-for-429).
Kutztown finished the season with a record of 19-22.
