A Monroe County driver is facing charges after he was found asleep in a restaurant drive-thru with drugs in his vehicle
Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to the McDonald’s restaurant in Mount Pocono at 1:50 a.m. on Sunday for a driver asleep in the drive-thru. On scene officers found Myron Roberson, 27, of 3227 Carobeth Drive, Tobyhanna, asleep behind the wheel of his car. Located in the vehicle was a bundle of heroin.
Roberson was taken to the county DUI center for processing. Charges include driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
