A Jim Thorpe man whose body was pulled from the waters of the Parryville Dam on Sunday has been identified.

State police at Lehighton said the deceased is Kareem Walker, 32, whose body was located in the Pohopoco Creek.

An autopsy was completed, and Walker, who was previously reported missing to the Jim Thorpe Police Department, was positively identified.

Police were assisted at the scene by Parryville and Lehighton Fire Department personnel.
