The Pocono Garden Club is offering a bus trip on May 8 to Paxson Hill Farm, a 32-acre property in Bucks Count that is home to unique gardens, a plant nursery and animals.
Space is limited. Deadline for registration and payment is April 24.
The trip includes a tour with an additional stop at Rutgers Nursery on the way back. Box lunch is included. The bus will leave Pocono Township Municipal Building on Route 611 in Tannersville at 8 a.m. and return around 5 p.m.
Bring your own snacks and drinks for the bus as no additional stops will be made en route.
Paxson Hill Farm has grown into one of the area’s unique and beautiful places to visit in Bucks County. Gardens include: shade gardens, formal gardens, ponds, bell garden, wing gardens and “never never land.” More unique gardens projects are constantly underway.
The nursery grows various rare and exotic perennials, annuals and trees.
