The body of a missing Philadelphia woman was found in an unoccupied home in Blakeslee Friday afternoon.

The Monroe County Coroner’s Office responded to a residence at 517 Foliage Drive in Blakeslee, Tunkhannock Township.

The woman, Nicole Murray, 24, had been missing from the Philadelphia area since late December 2017 and was last seen in early January.

This is an ongoing investigation with the coroner's office, the Monroe County District Attorney, Pennsylvania State Police Forensic Unit and Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department.  A forensic autopsy will be conducted on Monday, according to the coroner’s office.  

No other details have been released at this time.
