A Rush Township official has warned residents of a hazardous condition along Route 309.

Board Chairman Shawn Gilbert announced at Thursday’s board of supervisors meeting that there is a “dangerous condition” along Route 309.

Gilbert said that across the street from Ziegler’s Auto Repair & Towing on Route 309, there is a monstrous tree.

“It is dangerous,” Gilbert said of the tree, adding that if it comes down, it could seriously hurt people, or worse.

Gilbert noted the tree is not on the township’s property, or the homeowners property.
