The 23rd annual Skippy Dietz Rabies Clinic will be held April 28 at the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad Building, Lake Drive, Lake Harmony. Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Vaccines for both dogs and cats will be available for $12 per shot. All animals must be in a cage or on a leash. Dr. Sharon Lachette of the White Haven Veterinary Hospital will administer the inoculation.

This clinic is dedicated in memory of Sandi Dietz, who spearheaded the clinic to combat rabies before her passing over nine years ago

Carbon County Treasurer Ron Sheehan will also be there to sell dog licenses to Carbon residents. It is the law that all dogs 3 months and older must have a dog license.

Out-of-county residents must contact their own county treasurer’s office to purchase a license.

The rescue squad building is located 1.4 miles west of Route. 903, next to Shenanigan’s Restaurant.
